 concerned citizens and organizations\, including the Michigan Collaborativ
 e to End Mass Incarceration (MI-CEMI)\, Black Voters Matter (BVM)\, When Y
 ou Vote\, I Win (WYVIW)\, Voting Access for All Coalition (VAAC)\, and num
 erous impassioned advocates. We aim to address Michigan's legislature and 
 advocate for the passage of pivotal criminal legal reform legislation.\n\n
 \n\nCoalition’s Approach\n\n\n\nPolicy Reform and Bill Championing\n\n\n
 \nIdentifying and supporting legislation for sentencing reforms\, diversio
 n programs\, and rehabilitation-focused measures.\n\n\n\nData-Driven Advoc
 acy\n\n\n\nAnalyzing existing policies to identify areas for improvement a
 nd presenting evidence-based proposals to legislators.\n\n\n\nCollaborativ
 e Efforts\n\n\n\nBuilding coalitions with advocacy groups\, stakeholders\,
  and affected communities to amplify advocacy efforts and create a unified
  front for change.\n\n\n\nEducation and Awareness\n\n\n\nEngaging in publi
 c advocacy campaigns to raise awareness and garner support for legislative
