DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for the 4th Annual Community Violence Inter
 vention Summit on April 21st!This year’s theme\, “One Mission\, Many H
 ands\,” reflects the Community Violence Intervention Team's collective c
 ommitment to supporting and uplifting young people through collaboration a
 nd community-driven strategies.The purpose of this summit is to educate\, 
 inspire\, and equip community members\, professionals\, and youth with too
 ls\, strategies\, and collaborative opportunities to reduce violence\, pro
 mote healing\, and strengthen communities. This two-day summit will includ
 e:Day 1: Youth Session (8am-2pm) – Focused on youth empowerment\, leader
 ship development\, and the critical role young people play in creating saf
 er neighborhoods.Day 2: Adult Session – Centered on systems change\, com
 munity collaboration\, trauma-informed approaches\, and sustainable violen
 ce-prevention strategies.Each day will welcome community members\, law enf
 orcement\, mental health specialists\, medical providers\, educators\, and
  the general public. All are invited to attend and engage.Lauren Fardig-Di
 op\, our Metro Detroit Restorative Justice Center Program Manager\, will b
 e facilitating a breakout session during the morning session on Youth Day
