Con esta medida, patrocinada por la presidenta de la C\u00e1mara Rachel Talbot Ross, Maine <a href=\"https:\/\/news.prisonpolicy.org\/t\/r-l-ttdlykud-oujoasi-c\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">es uno de los 17 estados <\/a>que han abordado este tema para crear una representaci\u00f3n legislativa m\u00e1s justa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El gerrymandering en las prisiones es un problema creado por la Oficina del Censo que cuenta a las personas encarceladas como residentes de sus celdas en la prisi\u00f3n en lugar de en sus comunidades de origen durante el conteo decenal.
