VAAC has been connecting with people across Detroit and Highland Park at events centered on voting, community resources, housing, food access, disability, and the issues affecting young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At each event, VAAC ambassadors answered voting questions, shared accurate information about voting in Michigan, and reminded attendees that many people who assume they cannot vote are eligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
VAAC spent the first day of early voting at Get Out to Vote, hosted by the City of Detroit Department of Elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Families and community members gathered for voting information, entertainment, children\u2019s activities, and local resources. VAAC was there to answer questions, provide voter education, and help residents understand when and where they could vote early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
