{"id":217816,"date":"2026-03-05T20:26:16","date_gmt":"2026-03-06T01:26:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/votingaccessforall.org\/?p=217816"},"modified":"2026-03-06T11:14:16","modified_gmt":"2026-03-06T16:14:16","slug":"reflecting-on-the-michigan-voices-gala-and-the-partner-of-the-year-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/votingaccessforall.org\/es\/2026\/03\/reflecting-on-the-michigan-voices-gala-and-the-partner-of-the-year-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Reflexiones sobre la Gala Voces de Michigan y el Premio Socio del A\u00f1o"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La semana pasada, en el <strong>Gala del 20.\u00ba aniversario de Michigan Voices<\/strong>, La Coalici\u00f3n de Acceso al Voto para Todos tuvo el honor de recibir el premio <strong>Premio al Socio del A\u00f1o <\/strong>De Michigan Voices. Estar nominados junto a organizaciones que admiramos profundamente hizo que el premio fuera particularmente especial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un gran grupo de nuestro equipo, muchos de los cuales han formado parte de VAAC desde sus inicios, se reuni\u00f3 para celebrar la llegada del premio de nuestra Directora Ejecutiva, Angela Davenport, en nombre de nuestra organizaci\u00f3n. Compartir ese momento juntos hizo que la noche fuera a\u00fan m\u00e1s significativa y sirvi\u00f3 como un recordatorio conmovedor de lo que el trabajo en coalici\u00f3n puede lograr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como se reflej\u00f3 en la gala, este trabajo no siempre es f\u00e1cil. Cuando el compromiso es genuino, habr\u00e1 diferencias, desacuerdos y momentos dif\u00edciles en el camino. Pero esos momentos son parte de lo que fortalece las coaliciones. La verdadera colaboraci\u00f3n requiere honestidad, confianza y la voluntad de seguir apoy\u00e1ndonos mutuamente incluso cuando el camino se pone dif\u00edcil. Reiteramos la idea de que nuestro esfuerzo conjunto es m\u00e1s fuerte cuando nos centramos en combatir las fuerzas que amenazan a nuestras comunidades y la democracia, no entre nosotros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Momentos como este tambi\u00e9n nos recuerdan a las personas que ayudaron a construir VAAC desde sus inicios. Durante los cinco a\u00f1os transcurridos desde su fundaci\u00f3n, nuestra organizaci\u00f3n ha sufrido una profunda p\u00e9rdida. Perdimos a dos de nuestros fundadores hace unos a\u00f1os, y este a\u00f1o perdimos a alguien que colabor\u00f3 estrechamente con la organizaci\u00f3n desde sus inicios. Su ausencia se siente profundamente en toda nuestra comunidad. Durante la entrega de premios, Lynna Kaucheck dedic\u00f3 un momento a reconocerlos y honrarlos, lo cual signific\u00f3 mucho para nuestro equipo. Continuar con esta labor es una forma de llevar adelante la visi\u00f3n y el compromiso que aportaron para construir algo m\u00e1s grande que cualquiera de nosotros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michigan Voices ha apoyado a VAAC de innumerables maneras a lo largo de los a\u00f1os. Su colaboraci\u00f3n va mucho m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la financiaci\u00f3n. Han brindado capacitaci\u00f3n, mentor\u00eda, orientaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica y oportunidades de colaboraci\u00f3n que fortalecen a organizaciones en todo Michigan.
