{"id":147466,"date":"2025-06-05T17:57:31","date_gmt":"2025-06-05T21:57:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/votingaccessforall.org\/?p=147466"},"modified":"2025-06-16T17:42:33","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T21:42:33","slug":"your-rights-are-on-the-line-before-you-sign-know-the-facts-%f0%9f%93%9c%e2%9d%93%e2%9c%8d%f0%9f%8f%bf%e2%9d%8c","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/votingaccessforall.org\/es\/2025\/06\/your-rights-are-on-the-line-before-you-sign-know-the-facts-%f0%9f%93%9c%e2%9d%93%e2%9c%8d%f0%9f%8f%bf%e2%9d%8c\/","title":{"rendered":"Tus derechos est\u00e1n en juego: antes de firmar, conoce los hechos \ud83d\udcdc\u2753\u270d\ud83c\udfff\u274c"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>En este momento circulan en Michigan dos peligrosas peticiones de enmienda constitucional: <strong>Comit\u00e9 para la Protecci\u00f3n de los Derechos de los Votantes<\/strong>\u2018&#039;\u2018 <strong>\u201cPru\u00e9balo, Michigan\u201d <\/strong>y <strong>Estadounidenses por el Voto Ciudadano (AfCV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se presentan como una forma de proteger las elecciones, pero lo que realmente hacen es atar a los votantes con burocracia y crear nuevas barreras permanentes para votar, especialmente para:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>votantes negros y morenos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ciudadanos afectados por la justicia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personas sin hogar o con bajos ingresos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personas trans y de g\u00e9nero diverso<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personas que han cambiado sus nombres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Votantes poco frecuentes o que votan por primera vez<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Requieren que los votantes presenten documentos espec\u00edficos, como un <strong>certificado de nacimiento certificado o un pasaporte v\u00e1lido<\/strong>, solo para registrarse o actualizar su informaci\u00f3n de votante. Estos documentos suelen ser caros, dif\u00edciles de obtener y est\u00e1n fuera del alcance de muchas personas. Ese es el punto. Exigir a los votantes que presenten estos documentos equivale a un impuesto electoral moderno, que cobra a las personas por el acceso a sus derechos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estas propuestas est\u00e1n dise\u00f1adas para deshacer los derechos de voto por los que lucharon los habitantes de Michigan y revertir las protecciones que los votantes de Michigan aprobaron abrumadoramente en 2018 y 2022. Nuestra Constituci\u00f3n estatal ser\u00eda reescrita con restricciones permanentes que no se pueden deshacer f\u00e1cilmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Golpear\u00edan duramente a nuestras comunidades y... <strong>imponer sanciones penales<\/strong> sobre los trabajadores electorales por errores honestos cometidos bajo nuevas reglas poco claras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u26a0\ufe0f Pregunte antes de firmar: conozca las se\u00f1ales de alerta<\/strong> \ud83d\udea9<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00bfDice \u201cprueba de ciudadan\u00eda\u201d o \u201crevisi\u00f3n del padr\u00f3n electoral\u201d? <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bfPodr\u00eda purgar a los votantes elegibles que no hayan votado recientemente o no tengan los documentos correctos?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bfDificulta el registro o ayuda a otros a votar?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bfPodr\u00eda criminalizar a los funcionarios electorales por hacer su trabajo?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00bfEl nombre de la petici\u00f3n suena protector pero incluye nuevas restricciones al voto? <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Tienes derecho a hacer una pausa.
