Estimada comunidad de Vaac:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Somos una coalici\u00f3n de personas directamente afectadas por el sistema legal, junto con aliados cercanos, que trabajamos para garantizar que todas las personas de Michigan conozcan su derecho a votar y tengan las herramientas para ejercerlo. En 2024, nos manifestamos con fuerza para hacer precisamente eso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En estas elecciones, VAAC ayud\u00f3 a cientos de personas, muchas de ellas por primera vez. No nos presentamos solo para lograr un resultado, sino para generar un poder duradero dentro de nuestra comunidad, amplificar las voces silenciadas e impulsar el cambio m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de una sola elecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impulsada por la solidaridad, el cuidado comunitario y la dedicaci\u00f3n, la labor de VAAC ha aumentado la participaci\u00f3n electoral, eliminando barreras y garantizando el acceso a las personas afectadas por la justicia y otras comunidades desatendidas. Sin embargo, nuestra misi\u00f3n est\u00e1 lejos de completarse. El progreso que hemos logrado es solo una base para la organizaci\u00f3n y la difusi\u00f3n continuas para garantizar que se escuchen todas las voces en las elecciones futuras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Es fundamental garantizar que las personas m\u00e1s afectadas por nuestro sistema legal cuenten con las herramientas y habilidades necesarias para participar de manera activa y efectiva en el proceso democr\u00e1tico. Esto incluye fomentar un mayor acceso a la educaci\u00f3n c\u00edvica, mejorar las iniciativas de participaci\u00f3n de los votantes y brindar plataformas para que se escuchen las voces subrepresentadas. Al abordar estas \u00e1reas, podemos trabajar hacia un panorama pol\u00edtico que refleje verdaderamente las necesidades de nuestras comunidades, allanando el camino hacia resultados m\u00e1s saludables y representativos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
