 ne St\, Hamtramck\, MI 48212\n\nJoin Voting Access For All Coalition (VAAC
 ) and Indivisible Metro Detroit as we continue building a community-create
 d Voting Rights Art Installation that brings together civic engagement\, s
 torytelling\, and creative expression.\n\nCommunity members are invited to
  create small art pieces exploring voting rights\, democracy\, civic parti
 cipation\, and community voice. Through writing\, drawing\, collage\, or m
 ixed media\, participants can reflect on their own experiences\, perspecti
 ves\, concerns\, and hopes for the future. No art experience is necessary\
 , and all materials will be provided.\n\nEach piece created during the pop
 -up becomes part of a larger installation examining voting access\, partic
 ipation\, barriers\, and the importance of protecting the right to vote. T
 he project creates space for reflection\, conversation\, and community con
 nection while highlighting the many ways people experience and think about
  democracy.\n\nVAAC is also excited to share that the Voting Rights Art In
 stallation has been accepted into ArtPrize 2026\, where community-created 
 pieces from across Michigan will be featured as part of the exhibition at 
 Fountain Street Church in Grand Rapids.\n\nCommunity members are welcome t
 o stop by\, create a piece\, and help shape a collaborative project that b
 rings together perspectives and experiences from across Michigan.
