 gan Day of Empathy\, a powerful recognition of the criminal legal system's
  impact on our communities and a call to action for healing\, justice\, an
 d transformation.\n\nThis movement captures the voices of those most affec
 ted by mass incarceration\, centering the experiences of Huron Valley Stat
 e Prison for Women.\n\nDay of Empathy is the nation’s largest day of ac
 tion for criminal justice reform\, &amp\; this wouldn’t be possible with
 out everyone’s collective effort in fighting for what’s right. It brin
 gs together people from all walks of life who have been negatively impacte
 d by America’s criminal justice system – from survivors of violent cri
 me to those who are currently incarcerated individuals to the loved ones o
 n the outside who advocate for their freedom and systemic reforms\, from c
 hildren of incarcerated parents to people on mass supervision to all commu
 nity members impacted by crime\, public safety issues\, and violence. By r
