DESCRIPTION:Congress is once again debating funding levels for U.S. Immigra
 tion and Customs Enforcement (ICE)—and for many communities\, this debat
 e is not abstract. ICE’s tactics have terrorized immigrant communities a
 cross the country\, using workplace raids\, home arrests\, surveillance\, 
 detention\, and family separation to create fear and instability.\n\nhttps

 alism\n\nThis system of enforcement is reinforced by white Christian Natio
 nalist ideology\, which frames the United States as a Christian nation and
  defines who “belongs.” Through religious language\, biblical imagery\
 , and “law and order” rhetoric\, this ideology justifies cruelty towar
 d immigrants while portraying enforcement agencies like ICE as moral defen
 ders of the nation. The result is a dangerous convergence of religious nat
 ionalism\, state violence\, and dehumanization.\n\n\nThis should raise urg
 ent alarm for all minorities\,. The same worldview that enables ICE to te
 rrorize immigrants undermines genuine religious freedom\, erodes pluralism
 \, and promotes a vision of America rooted in exclusion and religious supr
 emacy rather than constitutional democracy.\n\nIn this urgent “Call Wit
 h Us!\, participants will:\n\n 	Receive clear\, timely context on current 
 congressional efforts to fund or defund ICE.\n 	Examine how white Christia
 n nationalist goals\, messaging\, and symbolism fuel immigration enforceme
 nt and normalize harm.\n 	Understand how ICE’s actions destabilize and t
 errorize communities—and why this is a religious freedom issue.\n 	Get s
 traightforward talking points grounded in pluralism\, dignity\, and consti
 tutional values.\n 	Call Members of Congress during the program to demand 
 that they hold ICE accountable and reject policies rooted in fear and excl
 usion.\n 	Take part in a brief group debrief to share experiences and next
  steps.\n\nThis is a rapid-response opportunity to act together—standing
  with immigrant communities and defending pluralism\, democracy\, and huma
